Tattered Lace Country Treasures

Hi everyone, hope your all keeping well.

Thought I’d share the cards made from the recently launched Tattered Lace Country Treasures kit over on Create and Craft TV. It was part of the Tattered Lace anniversary celebrations it was a huge success and another sell-out, a beautiful kit and I’m not in the least bit surprised that it sold out.

It was a busy lead up to the Tattered Lace anniversary deals so I didn’t get time to take any photos but fortunately the team at Tattered Lace HQ took some and boy can you tell the difference between my poor attempts and the professionals lol!!

BD-i Tiaramaking May Challenge Bundle

Apologies for the late post regarding the BD-i Tiaramaking May challenge bundle, I posted earlier about the bundle but didn’t share my make, BD-i challenge bundle.

It’s a gorgeous bundle from BD-i and astounding value at £5, the pendant alone I’m sure would cost more than £5. I kept the design of the necklace quite simple for this piece because I adore the Butterfly pendant and wanted the focus on the pendant.

Please pop on over to BDI-i Tiaramaking and check out their products, and don’t let the name mislead you it’s not just about tiaras they have so much more, and the outlet section of the website has some amazing diamanté pendants, kilo bundles of findings and a variety of beads at brilliant prices.

BD-i Tiaramaking – Rondelle cluster hair comb

My latest make, using elements from the BD-i Tiaramaking Design Team pack, these are the multi-colour crystal rondelle strand. I kept the colours and design quite simple, making bead clusters with the rondelles, they really catch the light especially with the added movement the clusters give, along with diamantés from my stash.

BD-i Tiaramaking February Design Challenge

Been busy, busy, with the February Design Challenge from BD-i Tiaramaking. Struggling with the camera work but didn’t struggle to get inspiration for my jewellery designs from the beautiful beads. I made a jewellery set in silver and red, using the bicones, diamanté rondelle spacers and clear/AB rondelles, all from the pack the only additions are the wire & findings. As I said I’m struggling with the camera work and sadly it doesn’t show the wonderful sparkle from the diamanté rondelle spacers and the clear/AB rondelles, they really do catch the light and twinkle.

My next designs are a ring and a handbag charm, using the red seed beads from the pack plus wire and findings from my stash. The ring is adjustable and quite a simple make but I think it’s an eye catching design, just love, love, love red & gold together 🙂

I’ve a couple more makes to upload, hopefully I’ll have more success with my photos!!!!

Make sure you check out the BD-I Tiaramaking blog for full details of the design challenge and I look forward to seeing your designs.

Potato Pearl necklace & bracelet

My make over the weekend, two potato pearl necklaces/bracelets, using coffee potato pearls one with lilac potato pearls as an accent and the other with turquoise potato pearls. I wanted to make a necklace that would double up as a bracelet too, so I made a simple rosary chain style using potato pearls and 0.4mm antique bronze wire. The “necklace” is roughly 32″ and when used as a “bracelet” it makes 4 wraps around my wrist.
