Evening all, yes, yes, I know it’s been an age since I blogged!

I’m back now and hopefully I’ll be sharing regularly.

Anyway, sharing a make using the one of the new releases from Stamps By Me Ltd.

Always Loved, Stamping, Brushos, Stamps By Me Ltd

1. Spritzed a sheet of A4 white card stock with water and sprinkled with yellow, orange and red Brusho crystals. Spritz the Brushos a little more to get a more blended effect.

2. Trimmed card stock to fit the A5 black card blank.

3. Stamped the buttercup several times, from the Stamps By Me Ltd Always Loved stamp set, using black Archival ink.

4. Stamped the buttercup a couple of times onto the off cut piece of card, fussy cut the individual flowers to decoupage onto the main image.

5. Stamped part of the sentiment, also from the Stamps By Me Ltd Always Loved stamp set, using black Archival ink.

6. Used Black Soot Distress ink and a blending tool to frame the image.

7. Matted onto white card stock and added a black ribbon and bow.

8. Adhered to the A5 black card blank.

9. Added the individual flowers, shaped with an embossing tool, using 3D Pinflair glue gel.

Spread Your Wings – Art Journal

Evening, sharing an art journal page today. The weather is pretty yuck here, but we have been fortunate and not had any really nasty weather, so decided to ignore the grim rain and winds and went for bright, bold and sunny art journal page.

Art Journal, Mixed Media, Dylusions, Dyan Reaveley, Stamps By Me Ltd, stamping, stencils, Faber Castell Pitt Pens

Step By Step

1. Used a baby wipe and Dylusions paints, Bubblegum Pink, Squeezed Orange and Lemon Zest, to create the base for the background. Added some Calypso Teal Dylusions paint randomly using a spatula.

2. Used various stencils, from Imagination Crafts, Viva Decor, Creative Expressions & Dylusions, with the same Dylusions paints colours used for the background plus Dylusions Black Marble and White Linen. Highlighted some of the stencilling with a white Dylusions paint pen.

3. Stamped the leaves at the top of the page using black Archival ink and the Stamps By Me Ltd – Foliage stamp set.

4. Stamped the flowers at the bottom of the page using Dylusions stamps, Anatomy of a Page stamp set, using black Archival ink.

5. On white card stock stamped the bird, from Stamps By Me Ltd – Christmas Greeting stamp set, using black Archival ink. Coloured the bird using Zig Clean Color pens.

6. Stamped the sentiment from a Dylusions stamp onto white card stock using black Archival ink.

Let’s Celebrate

Morning, what have you got planned today? I’ve got to tidy my craft desk, hopefully find my small Dylusions journal!!, and then it’s head down and on with some DT work.

Step By Step

1. Cut a circle, I’ve used a Tattered Lace circle die, from white card stock.

2. Used a circle stencil, which had various sizes of circles, with Creative Expressions Colour Cloud blending ink and a Smoothie sponge. I used only one colour for the circles, Smudged Charcoal, applying more or less colour to create the variation in shades.

3. Stamped the solid tulips, from the Stamps By Me – Hooray stamp set, with black Generation INX.

4. Stamped the tulip sketch outline , also from the Stamps By Me – Hooray stamp set, using a Versamark ink. Used white detail embossing powder and heat set, I used an anti-static bag before using the embossing powder.

5. Used a Derwent Graphik paint liner pen to add sketchy outlines to the grey circles.

6. Stamped the Let’s Celebrate sentiment, from the Stamps By Me – Hooray stamp set, with black Generation INX.

7. Using a circle die, I cut the centre from the larger circle background. Cut larger circles from black card stock, matted and layered the two sections onto the black card stock.

8. Cut two circles from white card stock to create the card blank. Scored one of the white circles, approx 1″, used red super sticky tape on the small scored area. Adhered the two circles together to construct the card blank, trimmed a sliver of card from the bottom of the card blank so it wouldn’t roll.

 9.  On a piece of white card stock, stamped the Hooray sentiment and edged with the tulip sketch outline, both from the Stamps By Me – Hooray stamp set, with black Generation INX. Matted onto black card stock.

10. Adhered to background and sentiment to the card blank, added some small coloured gems to the background and the sentiment.

Don’t forget to watch the Stamps By Me show today on Create and Craft, Tuesday 15th November, at 2pm. Toni’s got lots of delicious inspiration and fabulous products to share.

Bright and Beautiful

Afternoon, it’s cold and grey in my part of the world so I’ve chosen a bright, warm make to share today.

Step By Step

1. Cut a piece of watercolour card to fit the card blank.

2. Put Distress inks, in red, orange and yellow, directly onto a non-stick craft mat. Spritzed the inks with water, laid my card stock down on the inks, twisting it slightly to blend the colours together.

3. Once the background was completed dry, inked up the solid flower head, from the Stamps By Me – Enjoy stamp set, using the three colours used for the background. Spritzed the stamp lightly before stamping on the background, repeated directly next to the first flower head.

4. Used the outline flower head, also from the Stamps By Me – Enjoy stamp set, using red Distress ink over the solid flower head. Repeated with black Generation INX.

5. Stamped the sentiment, Stamps By Me – How Beautiful sentiment stamp, using black Generation INX.

6. Mounted onto gold mirri card and adhered to the card blank.
