Step By Step

1. Cut two circles from white card stock, one to create the base for the wreath and the second to cover the ribbon attachment.

2. Cut 18 sprigs using the Polkadoodles Super Sprigs die from white card stock.

3. Coloured the large sprigs with a light blue Copic pen, left the smaller sprigs white.

4. Glued the larger light blue sprigs around the edge of the circle.

5. Glued the smaller white sprigs randomly between the larger light blue sprigs.

6. Cut the oval frame, using the Polkadoodles Bubbleicious die set, from white card stock.

7. Stamped the ‘Wishes’ sentiment, from a Clearly Besotted stamp set, in light blue Memento ink on the oval die cut.

8. Stamped the snowflakes, from the Polkadoodles Festive Christmas collection, in light blue Memento ink on the oval die cut.

9. Used some wooden alphabet letters, pressed into a Versamark ink pad and heat embossed with a WOW silver glitter embossing powder.

10. Attached a blue ribbon for the hanging to the back of the wreath, using red super sticky DS tape.

11. Adhered the second circle to cover the ribbon attachment.

12. Adhered the oval to the centre of the wreath using Pinflair 3D glue gel.

13. Glued the ‘Xmas’ letters to the oval using dries clear glue.

Cherry Blossom

Morning, hope your all well! Busy weekend ahead so I’ve scheduled this post to share my latest make.

Had a play with the Polkadoodles Cherry Blossom die along with the Bubbleicious frame die.

Step by Step

1. Used the Polkadoodles Cherry Blossom branch die set to cut the branch three times from cream card stock. Cut several of the blossoms also from the Polkadoodles Cherry Blossom branch die set.

2. Coloured the blossoms with a pink Copic pen.

3. Cut sections from two of the branches and adhered to the other full branch, to create a tree.

4. Die cut the main frame from the Polkadoodles Bubbleicious die set from Kraft card stock. Cut a few of the leaves in cream card stock, also from the Bubbleicious die set.

5. Die cut a rectangle frame from Kraft card stock and adhered to my card blank. Left the bottom of the rectangle frame in glued so I could slip the tree trunk underneath at a later stage.

6. Adhered the Bubbleicious frame to the card blank using Pinflair 3D glue gel.

7. Adhered the tree to the Bubblecious frame, slipping the trunk underneath the rectangle frame.

8. Adhered the blossoms to the tree, used liquid pearls to embellish the centers of the blossoms.

9. Used an embossing tool to shape a few blossoms and adhered using Pinflair 3D glue and added the cream leaves. Embellished the flowers with liquid pearls.

10. Embellished the rectangle frame with liquid pearls.

Managed to get some crafting done, I’ve used one of the new dies from Polkadoodles.

If you’ve not seen the dies from Polkadoodles, I’d definitely recommend them, they cut like a dream and they release the card stock so easily. Not only do they do the job of die cutting brillantly, the prices are fabulous, prices start at just £3.49!!

2. Used stencils and Dylusions paints to add some interest to the background.

3. Used black archival ink and Polkadoodles stamps to create the border on the tag and to add further interest to the background. Coloured the border with a white Derwent Paint Liner pen.

4. Cut the Bubbleicious frames from white card stock. Coloured the fancy oval die cut with Dylusions paints.

5. Stamped the sentiment and butterflies, using Polkadoodles stamp sets and black Archival ink.

6. Cut the flowers and leaves from the Bubbleicious die set from white card stock. Coloured the flowers and leaves with Distress inks and Copic markers.

7. Adhered the fancy oval to the main Bubblecious frame using 3D foam pads.
