Morning, a tag to share today made using Indigo Blu stamps and Faber Castell Gelatos.

 

 

Step by Step

1. Cut a tag shape from water colour card, applied Faber Castell Gelatos in various colours. I’ve applied the colours dry and blended by hand.

2. Cut a piece of water colour card stock, using an X Cut die die, and applied Faber Castell Gelatos using the same colours as the tag.

3. Stamped the tag using Indigo Blu’s Kibble Pups stamp and black Archival ink.

4.  Stamped the sentiment, from the Indigo Blu Duke’s Gang stamp set, using black Archival ink. Heat set the ink and masked the sentiment with a piece of a sticky note, stamped the Indigo Blu Kibble Pups using black Archival ink.

5. Sealed the FC Gelatos using a sponge and Deco Art Matte Medium.

6. Used water colour card to stamp various dogs, from the Indigo Blu Duke’s Gang stamp set, coloured the dogs with FC Gelatos and a black paint pen.

7. Added a border to the tag using Derwent Graphik Paint Liner pens in black and white. Added faux stitching to the sentiment topper using a black Derwent Graphik Paint Liner pen.

8. Used a die to cut a mat for the sentiment from black card stock.

9. Adhered the tag to black card stock, punched a hole using a Crop-A-Dile.

10. Matted the sentiment onto the black mat using 3D foam pads, added a border with a white Derwent Graphik Paint Limer pen.

Adhered to the tag using super sticky red tape.

11. Adhered the dogs using Pinflair 3D glue gel.

Sunflowers

Morning, how was your weekend? It was quiet one here but very enjoyable and I got some crafting in, just for change lol

Ive got an art journal page to share, from my Dylusions Square Standard Creative Journal, using the beautiful Sunflower stamp from the Sending You … Stamp set, from Stamps by Me Ltd.

  

 

Step by Step

1. Used Dylusions paint, in Calypso Teal and Fresh Lime, and a blending tool to apply the background colour.

2. Used various stencils from Tim Holtz, Imagination Crafts & Andy Skinner to create some interest an depth to the background. Used a stencil brush and Dylusions paints, in Calypso Teal, Fresh Lime, White Linen and Black Marble.

3. Used a couple of Tim Holtz stamps to add some texture to the background, using Archival inks.

4. Stamped the Sunflower, from the Sending You stamp set from Stamps by Me Ltd, using black Memento ink and coloured with Copic markers.

5. Stamped the individual words, don’t know the maker bought from HobbyCraft eons ago!, and the sentiment, from a Tim Holtz stamp set, using black Archival ink on white card stock.

6. Adhered the sunflowers, text and sentiment using Deco Art Matte Medium.

7. Stamped a flourish, from a Stampendous stamp set, all around the edge of the page, using black Archival ink.

8. Used a white Derwent Graphik Paint Liner pen to emphasis some of stencilling and the stamped florish.

9. Used a black Derwent Graphik Paint Liner pen to edge the sentiment.

10. To make the sunflowers pop on the page, used a Faber Castell Pitt pen in brown to go around the edge of the flowers.

Absurd

Morning, how are we all today? 

Sharing an art journal page using Dylusions paints and stamps.

 

Step by Step

1. Created the background using Dylusions paints and a blending tool, used Bubblegum Pink, Tangerine Dream and Lemon Zest.

2. Used various stencils from Imagination Crafts and Inkylicious. Used Dylusions paints, using the same colours as above plus Black Marble,with a blending tool.

3. Emphasized parts of the stencilling using a Derwent Graphik paint liner pen. 

4. Stamped the border, from a Dylusions stamp set, top and bottom, using black Archival ink.

5. Stamped the character parts, embellishments and text, all from Dylusions stamp sets, using black Archival ink, onto white card stock. Coloured the elements with Derwent Inktense pencils.

6. Coloured parts of the border using Derwent Graphik paint liner pens.

7. Adhered the character, embellishments and text using Deco Art Matte Medium.

Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge – Week 42 Anything Goes

Morning everyone, thanks for popping on over. 

It’s time for a new challenge at Polkadoodles Crafting Challenge.

The challenge is ‘Anything Goes’ and  we’d love to see your makes over the blog, there’s a prize for the winner of the challenge.

Polkadoodles, Week 42 Anything Goes, Stamping, Stencils, Mixed Media, Daisydays

Step by Step

1. Cut a piece of mixed media card stock 7×7″. Sprayed the card stock with a couple of Imagination Crafts Mixed Media sprays. Allowed to card stock dry.

2. Used a Viva Decor stencil, time piece, and a Dylusions stencil, circles, with Dylusions White Linen paint and a blending tool to add some interest to the background. Added additional depth to the background using a Dylusion stencils, hearts, and an Imagination Crafts stencil, dots, with Dylusions Black Marble and Bubblegum Pink paint and a blending tool. Highlighted the hearts by drawing round them with a white Derwent Paint Liner pen.

3. Used black Archival ink to stamp the border, sentiment and Daisies from the Polkadoodles Daisydays collection, bundle contents stamp set and CD-Rom. Heat set the ink, it will dry on its own but I’m impatient!!

4. Coloured the Daisies with Faber Castell Pitt pens.

5. Edged the card stock using a blending tool and Black Soot Distress ink.

6. Matted the background onto white card stock using DS tape.

7. Used 3D foam pads to adhere to black card stock, finally adhered to the 8×8″ white card blank using DS tape.

Chase Your Dreams ….

Evening, very late posting today, I’ve got several projects done but getting decent photos was a battle today!

An art journal page to share today.

 

 

Step by Step

1. Created the background for the page using Dylusions paints and a blending tool.

2. Used various stencils from Imagination Crafts and Creative Expressions and Dylusions paints. Used a white pen to add detail to the stencilled stars.

3. Used black Archival ink and Polkadoodle stamps, Absolute Vintage and Distressed Zig & Zag stamp sets,  to create further interest in the background and create the borders.

4. Stamped the girl, she’s from a Polkadoodles stamp set, Art Girl, but I don’t think she’s available any more, with Memento ink and coloured with Copic markers.

5. Stamped the arrows and text from the Polkadoodles Distressed Zig & Zag stamp set, using black Memento ink. Created a pattern in the arrows using stamps from the Distressed Zig and Zag set, coloured the arrows with Copic markers.

6. Adhered text, arrows and character using Deco Art Matte Medium. Emphasized the text using a black Derwent Graphik paint liner pen.
