Simply Black & White

Morning, sharing a CAS make using Tattered Lace dies and a little watercolouring.

Simply Black and White, Tattered Lace dies

Step by Step

Cut a piece of white linen effect card stock to fit card blank.

Used black watercolour paint to apply a wash to the centre of the card stock. Leave background to dry.

Used black and white Magic Colour Fluid Acrylic inks to add splats to the water coloured background. Allow to dry.

Used Tattered Lace dies to cut the butterfly and Majestic Larkspur from white card stock.

Attached black ribbon to bottom of background.

Matted background onto black card stock, adhered to card blank.

Created a bow using Bow Maker and adhered using hot glue gun. Added a flat back gem to centre of bow using hot glue gun.

Adhered die cuts to background.

Added 3 flat back gems top left hand corner of background.
