Sharing a tag card made recently, I’d coloured one of the ladies from the Tonic Studios Exquisite Ladies stamps set so needed to show her off.  Created the background using Creative Expressions Colour Cloud blending inks and added some interest to the background with stamps from Hobby Art and Inkylicious. The sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps and the dies are from Tonic Studios.

Moody Blues

Morning all, why so early because this a scheduled post!! I’m hoping this has worked???

Sharing a card created using stamps from Lavinia Stamps. It’s a 5×7″ card, a size I don’t use much but I think I should use it bit more!

I’ve used Creative Expressions Colour Cloud blending inks to create the background, on white cardstock. The circles in the background created using a Clarity Stamps stencil using the Colour Cloud blending inks. The images are all from Lavinia Stamps and are stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink pad and embellished with a little glitter to the Fairy’s wings, dandelion and the  moon pods. Finally added Cosmic Shimmer PVA and sprinkled with glitter in the corners.

Octavia Moonfly

Afternoon all, sharing a page for my newly started Art Journal. Octavia will be my first addition to the Journal, I’ve been saying I’ll start myself an Art Journal and never started one!!! I’m going to bind my own pages, starting small with A5 pages, with my WRMK Cinch so I’ve already made a bit of boo boo because I’ve put flat back gems in the top left hand corner!!! Do I attempt to move over or do I bind without a full spine of coils??? Decisions, decisions!

The page didn’t turn out quite as I wanted, not too happy with how I’ve shaded round Octavia image but lesson learnt lol

I printed out Octavia from the Polkadoodles CD-Rom and coloured with Copic pens, I actually coloured Octavia some time ago but not got round to using her, naughty, naughty! The background was created with Faber Castell Gelatos and I’ve created a little interest in the background using stencils and stamps.

Trick or Treat !!!!

Evening folks, sharing make featuring a spooky goblin this evening, or is he??

He’s actually a Xmas elf but with a little creative colouring he’s my Halloween Goblin.  I purchased the Eric and Candy Canes stamp from Bee Crafty, intending getting a start on my Xmas cards, yes, yes, I know I’m well behind schedule!!! Halloween goblin actually came about because I made a bit of a hash colouring Eric in so thought I’d tried a rescue him and think he’s turn out quite good as a goblin???

Added a few Tattered Lace dies, the spider from Little Miss Muffet  (D941) and the Alphabet Bunting (D197), along with some scribbled spiders webs and text using a Sakura Micron pen to embellish and transformed my Xmas Elf into a spooky goblin 🙂

Little Fairy

Afternoon, back again no blogging for months and look at me this week!!!

Playing about with stencils yesterday and a stamp set from Personal Impressions I’ve not used in a while and she’s sooo cute.

Step by Step

1. Used white linen effect cardstock, 6×6″, for the background. Blended Memento inks in Olive Grove and Tangelo onto the background. Stenciled through using the same inks, the Clock is from Viva Decor and the Circles and Chicken wire are from Clarity Stamps.

2. Stamped the Fairy, stars, bell and verse all from the Little Fairy stamp set, by Personal Impressions, using Versafine Onxy Black.

3. Stamped the Fairy from the same set onto watercolour card and watercoloured using the Lyra Art Pens, set of 50. Added a little wink of Stella gold and clear to the Fairy’s wings. Then fussy cut out the Fairy, without the star, and then adhered to the 6×6″ background where I’d stamped previously, colouring the star in gold Wink of Stella.

4. Used the Tim Holtz Mixed Media die to cut into the right hand corner.

5. Edged the 6×6″ background with black ink and matted onto Kraft cardstock.

6. Using a small piece of the white linen effect cardstock, inked with Memento Tangelo and then stenciled with an Imagination Crafts stencils, using Memento Tangelo and Olive Grove, to create the dots on the background. Die cut the flowers from the cardstock, using  Tattered Lace Claire Trio die.
7. Embellished with Viva Decor Paper Pen, Graphite, to create the flat back pearls in the left hand corner and added Card Candi to the centre of the flowers.
