Time has flown by and it’s time already for the October jewellery challenge over on Beading Friends Forever. There are two parts to the challenge, you can enter one or both, a tutorial challenge and a themed challenge. The tutorial challenge is from HoneyBeads and is a beautiful bracelet, Lady Luck, and the themed challenge is to create a Christmas themed ornament. You can check out the rules etc over on the Beading Friends Forever including details of the prize to be won, donated by Beads Direct.
I have made a micro macramé snowflake, made using C-Lon cord, 11/0 seed beads, 5/0 seed beads & a 10mm jump ring, for the themed challenge. I adapted a pattern available on Free Macramé Patterns website, Micro Macrame Seven Point Snowflake, I added the seed beads, altered the points of the snowflake and added in a loop for hanging. The finished snowflake measures approx 3″ x 3″, excluding the loop.
So pop on over to Beading Friends Forever and check out the DT makes, full details of the challenges & rules, and get creating we love to see everyone’s makes.
